Step 1
Install Windows 2000 SP4.
Step 2
Install Active Directory (on same or separate machine).
Step 3
Set up and configure DNS.
Step 4
Configure a Domain Controller (on same or separate machine).
Step 5
Join the domain.
Step 6
Install MS SQL Server 7.0 SP4 or MS SQL Server 2000 SP3a.
Step 7
Create a MS SQL Server backup of the production logger database.
Step 8
Create the Logger database.

Open MS SQL Enterprise Manager on the new system.

Expand Microsoft SQL Servers and SQL Server Group.

Expand your current server name.
