The following instructions explain how to connect optical cables to a processor and 

optical receivers.   

The fiber fish tool that was shipped with the chassis is used to pull (“fish”) an optical 

cable from the rear of the chassis to the front of the chassis so the cable can be 

connected to an optical connector on the front panel of a module.   

 

 

At the end of the fiber fish tool is a small hook that allows you to hold an optical 

cable so that you can pull it through to the front of the chassis.
