Editing a Stitch Pattern
Editing a Stitch Pattern
Converting objects to a 
stitch pattern
Objects can be converted into a stitch pattern, 
allowing you to make detailed changes by modifying 
the position of individual stitches.
Select the pattern(s), and then click 1, then 2.
 
Selecting stitch patterns by 
thread color
Hold down the 
 key and click the thread color 
for the stitch patterns that you wish to select.
Selecting stitch points of 
stitch pattern

Select the Select Point tool by clicking 1, then 
2, then 3.

Click the stitch pattern.

Memo:
• In stitch patterns, stitches appears as solid 
lines (
), and jump stitches appear as 
dotted lines (
).
• If any part of grouped objects, objects set for 
hole sewing, and text arranged on shapes is 
selected, all objects in the entire group are 
converted to stitch patterns.
• Patterns that do not have sewing attributes 
applied are deleted when the object is 
converted to stitch pattern.
• Object means patterns created with Shape 
tools or Text tools or Manual Punch tools.

Memo:
• The thread color can be changed when 
patterns are selected using this method.
