Built-In Styles Sets
OmniPage Pro is shipped with the following built-in style sets. These
style sets cannot be deleted or modified. Only their font-mapping
settings can be altered.
True Page
This style set retains as much text, paragraph, and page formatting as
possible. It contains one style called Auto Detect which tries to discern all
formatting automatically. True Page uses frames (formatting boxes) to
retain the page layout of a document such as side-by-side columns.
The True Page style set should only be used if your target application
(the application where a recognized document eventually ends up)
supports frame formatting. File formats that support frame formatting
have a TP in front of their names in the Save As dialog box.
Similar Formats
This style set retains as much text and paragraph formatting as possible.
It contains one style called Auto Detect . The difference between this style
set and True Page is that Similar Formats does not use frames to preserve
page layout.
Similar Fonts
This style set retains as much text formatting as possible and some
paragraph formatting. It contains one style called Auto Fonts .
Plain Format
This style set contains one style called Plain which formats text in a plain,
10-point Geneva font. This does not attempt to retain any text or page
formatting.
In addition to the built-in style sets, OmniPage Pro is shipped with a
number of sample style sets. You cannot edit the built-in style sets, but
you can edit the sample style sets.
