Connecting the Camera to a Network

Select xDSL (PPPoE) in the setup program or 
select xDSL on Select Network Interface on the 
Network Setting page for the Administrator, and set 
the items for the xDSL modem connection.
For details on the settings, see “xDSL Interface” on 
page 18.
For the use of the setup program, see “Assigning the 
IP Address Using the Setup Program” in the 
supplied Installation Manual.

Connect the camera to the network as follows:

• For details on the xDSL modem connection, refer to 

the operation manual of the modem.

• For required connection settings, check with your ISP.

Select PSTN in the setup program or select PSTN 
on Select Network Interface on the Network Setting 
page for the Administrator, and set the items for the 
USB modem connection.
For details on the settings, see “PSTN Interface” on 
page 18.
For the use of the setup program, see “Assigning the 
IP Address Using the Setup Program” in the 
supplied Installation Manual.

Connect the camera to the network as follows:

• For details on the USB modem connection, refer to the 

operation manual of the modem.

• For required connection settings, check with your ISP.
