Basic Operations
Hands-Free Digital Speakerphone 
The digital speakerphone enhances your telephone conversation. For best performance, please note the following.
Use the speakerphone in a quiet room.
Speak alternately with the caller.
If the caller complains that your voice is hard to hear, press 
to decrease the speaker volume.
If the other party’s voice from the speaker cuts in/out during a conversation, press 
to
decrease the speaker volume.
Mute your conversation 
Press 
while talking.
(The mute indicator lights.)
The other party cannot hear your voice but you can hear theirs.
To resume the conversation, Press 
again.

Answering Calls
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 14), otherwise the handset will not ring.
To turn the handset ringer off

When the handset starts ringing, press

The ringer will turn back on for the next call.
This function will not work when the handset is
on the base unit.
With the Handset
If the handset is off the base unit, press

Auto talk
