Troubleshooting
If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the AC 
adaptor and turn off the handset, then reconnect the AC adaptor and turn on the handset.
Problem
Cause & solution
w
 is flashing.
L
The handset is too far from the base unit. Move 
closer.
L
The AC adaptor is not connected. Check the 
connections.
L
You are using the handset or base unit in an area 
with high electrical interference. Place the handset 
and base unit away from interference sources, 
such as antennas and mobile phones.

The handset registration is cancelled. Register the 
handset to the base unit using the following 
method.

Press and hold {x} on the base unit for about 
5 seconds.

If all registered handsets start ringing, press 
{x}
 to stop, then start again from step 1.

The rest of the procedure must be completed 
within 1 minute.

Press {e} or {v} to select a base unit number.

Wait until “BS PIN” is displayed. i Enter 
base unit PIN (default: “0000”). i {>}

If you forget your PIN, see page 18.

A confirmation tone will sound, and w will 
stop flashing.

If w is still flashing, start again from step 1.
