CDR1000—Owner’s Manual
Connecting the Power Cord
Connect the socket-end of the supplied power cord to the AC IN
socket on the rear panel of the CDR1000, and connect the
plug-end to a suitable AC wall outlet, one that conforms to the
power supply requirements stated on the CDR1000 rear panel.
Turning On the Power
To prevent loud clicks and thumps in your loudspeakers, turn on your
audio equipment in the following order (reverse this order when turning
off your equipment)—sound sources, CDR1000, mixing console, mon-
itor amplifier.
1
Press the [POWER] switch to turn on the CDR1000.
The CDR1000 initializes itself and “SELF-CHECK” appears on the dis-
play. The type of disc loaded is then determined and “READING”
appears. If no disc is loaded, “NO DISC” appears.
2
Press the [POWER] switch again to turn off the CDR1000.
Warning:   Turn off all equipment before making any power connections.
Note:   Always unload discs before turning off the CDR1000.
