Picture problems
If you are not satisfied with the pictures you get from
your PhotoPC 850Z, you may need to adjust some of
the camera’s settings, or you may need to brush up on
your photography techniques. Read the suggestions
listed below and give them a try.
Your pictures images on the screen and printed out
are differ from the image displayed on the LCD
monitor.
The PhotoPC 850Z captures images in 24-bit color
(16 million colors). Your pictures will not display
maximum image quality if your monitor or your
computer's video controller does not support this
color depth. You may need to upgrade your
system to achieve the best possible image quality.
If the image on the LCD monitor and screen are
different, check the gamma correction and color
correction settings. Try a different combination of
these settings.
If your pictures look better on the screen than
when you print them out, you may need to
upgrade your printer. EPSON color ink jet
printers provide excellent image quality.
Your picture is blurry or out of focus.
Make sure your subject is within the camera’s
range. When sensitivity is set to Standard, make
sure you are at least 50 centimeters away from the
subject to take a picture without the flash. When
you use the built-in flash, make sure of the
effective flash range from 80 to 370 centimeters for
wide-angle shot and from 80 to 260 centimeters
for telephoto shot. When using the macro feature,
you can take pictures within 20 to 50 centimeters
of the subject with or without the flash.
Make sure the subject is not moving.
Be careful to hold the camera steady while the
image is being captured.
Make sure your flash is not set to
.
Make sure to center your subject. When you take
photos using the viewfinder, center your subject
in the cross-hairs.
