To set Time Format,

To set Date Format,

To select a Font Size for the phone menu screens,

To select a Language,

When enabled, Auto Lock will automatically lock the phone when it is 
turned on. You must enter the 4-digit Unlock Code to use the phone. 
To enable/disable Auto Lock,

Press 

 and select 4 Preferences, 7 Clock.

Select 3 Time Format. 
Select 12-hour or 24-hour and press OK softkey.

Press 

 and select 4 Preferences, 7 Clock.

Select 4 Date Format. 
Select Day/Month or Month/Day and press OK softkey.

Press 

 and select 4 Preferences, 8 Advanced.

Select 1 Font Size.
Select Small (6 pt.) or Large (9 pt.) and press OK softkey.

Press 

 and select 4 Preferences, 8 Advanced.

Select 2 Language.
Select English or Spanish and press OK softkey. Your 
carrier may offer other language selections.

 The language selection will also change the T9

®

 Quick Type language database.

Press 

 and select 4 Preferences, 8 Advanced.

Select 3 Auto Lock.
Select Disable or Enable and press OK softkey. If you 
enable Auto Lock, you will need to select a 4-digit Unlock 
Code. You will then have to enter the Unlock Code each 
time you turn on the phone. See Unlock Code on page  50.
