9)  The cursor is now displayed in the ‘DIS’ (distance) field.  Enter the desired 
distance from the reference waypoint.
10)  Press the ENT Key.  The cursor is now placed for entering another reference 
waypoint, if desired.
11)  Press the FMS 
Knob
 to remove the flashing cursor.
Delete A user WAYpOint
1)  Turn the large FMS Knob to select the ‘WPT’ page group.
2)  Turn the small FMS Knob to select the User WPT Information Page.
3)  Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor.
4)  Turn the large FMS Knob to the place the cursor in the ‘USER WAYPOINT LIST’ 
field.
5)  Turn the small FMS Knob to highlight the desired waypoint.
6)  Press the DELETE Softkey.
7)  The message ‘Would you like to delete the user waypoint?’ is displayed.  With 
‘YES’ highlighted, press the ENT Key.

NOTE: When creating a new flight plan in the Active Flight Plan Window, 
the first leg is activated automatically after it is created.
Creating an active flight plan:
1)  Press the FPL Key.
2)  Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor (only on MFD).
3)  Turn the small FMS Knob to display the Waypoint Information Window. 
(Turning it clockwise displays a blank Waypoint Information Window, 
turning it counter-clockwise displays the Waypoint Information Window 
with a waypoint selection submenu allowing selection of active flight plan, 
nearest, recent, user, or airway waypoints).
4)  Enter the identifier, facility, or city name of the departure waypoint or select 
a waypoint from the submenu of  waypoints and press the ENT Key.  The 
active flight plan is modified as each waypoint is entered.
5)  Repeat step numbers 3 and 4 to enter each additional flight plan waypoint.
6)  When all waypoints have been entered, press the FMS Knob to remove the 
cursor.
