This section describes the following tasks:
Confirming urgent messages
You must confirm the receipt of an urgent message. If you do not confirm 
an urgent message within 60 seconds, the system notifies the originator 
that the message was not delivered.
When you receive an urgent message, perform the following step:
Message list full
The message list can store a maximum of 80 messages if a MEM card is 
installed; if the MEM card is full, the message “Storage full” appears, and 
the system handles new messages according to the overwrite setting. 
You can configure how your handset handles new messages once the 
message list is full:
if Overwrite is on, the handset deletes the oldest message before it 
stores the new message.
if Overwrite is off (this is the default configuration), the handset does 
one of the following:
— for urgent messages, the handset shows the message but does 
not store it.
— for normal messages, the handset rejects the message.
For more information about configuring Overwrite, see
