placing the handle in a horizontal position for maximum water flow. Turn the
valve on the pump in a vertical position for minimum water flow.
CAUTION: This pump has been evaluated for use with water only.
NOTE
: It is recommended the pump be set at its highest flow during assembly
and later adjusted to a lower setting if desired. Be sure to unplug pump before
adjusting flow setting.
WARNING
: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK
• Do not connect to any voltage other than that shown on the pump.
• This pump is supplied with a grounding conductor and grounding-type attach-
ment plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, be certain that it is connected
only to a properly grounded, grounding-type receptacle.
• The national electric code requires that a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)
be used in the branch circuit supplying fountain pumps and other pond equip-
ment. See your electrical supplies dealer for this device.
• If the supply cable is damaged it can not be replaced and the pump unit should
be discarded.
WARNING
: RISK OF FIRE

the hole into the base of the fountain out the back, lay with power cord from
pump. Connect cord from light to A/C adapter and tighten.
NOTE: Do not let pump run when NOT submerged in water. Doing so may damage the pump. Always submerge
the pump in water first, and then plug in the unit.
4.  Fill base with tap water to approximately 1/2" above pump. Distilled water is recommended in order to  minimize
mineral deposits.
NOTICE: Do not place outdoors in weather conditions below 32˚F,  may cause water to freeze.
5.  Plug cord into 120V household outlet. Turn pump on to verify flow making sure it is not too high and everything is
operating correctly. Arrange river rocks on top of plate.
NOTE: Ensure that the electrical cord loop below the electrical outlet.” This will prevent water from running down
the cord into the electrical outlet.
