result, such a page would be considered to be blank. You can adjust the 

Content Sensitivity setting by doing one of the following:
• Move the slider to the left to decrease the likelihood of detecting small 

amounts of content on a page.

• Move the slider to the right to increase the likelihood of detecting small 

amounts of content on a page.

• Click the arrows in the text box to increase or decrease the Content 

Sensitivity value.

• Click in the Content Sensitivity text box and type a value. 
The message “Page Content Detected” or “Page Content Not Detected” 

indicates whether or not VRS would consider the preview image to be blank 

with the current Content Sensitivity setting in effect. You can adjust the 

Content Sensitivity setting to locate the threshold at which VRS detects 

content on a page.

Click OK.

VRS product enhancements are available to licensed users. You can check for and 

download product updates if your VRS product license is active.

X To obtain VRS product updates

Do one of the following:
• From the VRS Interactive Viewer menu bar, select Help | Check for 

Updates.

• From the Windows Start menu, select Program Files | Kofax VRS | Check 

for Updates.

You cannot obtain VRS updates until your product license has been 

activated. For information on activating your product license, refer to the VRS 

online help or the VRS Installation Guide.

You will be notified about the available updates for your current VRS 

configuration. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the 

desired update.
