Enabling the Plus Features Demo

The “Enable Plus Features Demo” command appears on the Tools menu only if you 

have a VRS Standard license. If you have a VRS Desktop, Workgroup/Departmental, 

or Production license, full access to VRS Plus features is already included in your 

installation. You can use the “Enable Plus Features Demo” command to enable a 

demonstration of VRS Plus features. While this mode is enabled, you have full access 

to the VRS Plus features and a “Kofax Demo Mode” stamp is placed on any images 

that you scan. 

Once the VRS Plus features demonstration is enabled, the VRS Interactive Viewer will 

be refreshed and three additional panels will be available from the VRS Adjustment 

Controls: Color, Background, and Blank Page. If you exit the demo, the VRS 

Adjustment Controls are refreshed again so that you have access only to the Clarity, 

Noise, and Skew panels.

X To enable the Plus Features demonstration

Select Tools | Enable Plus Features Demo. A check mark will appear next to 

the menu item to indicate that the demonstration has been enabled.

Review the message confirming that the VRS Plus features demonstration is 

active, and then click OK.
