Using the RDV Utility
You can use the RDV utility to change the default VRS scanner selection, or to restore 
the VRS default settings.
To launch the RDV utility

Locate the RDV folder in your VRS installation and double-click “RDV.exe” 
to launch the utility, as shown in Figure A-1.

If you want to change the default VRS scanner selection, select the desired 
scanner from the “Select scanner” list.

To update your installation with the original VRS default settings, select 
“Restore factory default settings.”

Click Apply and then click OK.
Note  
There is no need to restore VRS settings to the factory defaults when 
you change the default VRS scanner with the RDV utility. Default settings are 
automatically updated when you use the RDV utility to change the default 
scanner.
When switching to certain scanners, you may receive an error message 
similar to the following when you attempt to use the default scanner: 
"Missing or Corrupt ISIS.pxw scanner driver file."
 This file is only 
installed by VRS when the scanner is selected during the setup process. You 
can install the missing file by following the procedure below.
