•  View Tutorial: Learn the basics of using SmartDraw Photo. 
•  Open & Browse: Manually locate and open images on your computer 

or removable media device. 

•  Find Photos: Set preferences and scan your system for photos.  
•  Create New Image: Create a blank canvas to draw or paint anything 

you want.  

•  Capture Photos: Upload images from a digital camera to your 

computer.   

•  Print Photos: Select a digital image or album to send to your printer. 
•  Email Photo:  Send a selected image or a whole album to others 

directly via email. 

•  Publish to the Web:  Upload a single image or a whole album to your 

personal, secure web space on SmartDrawNet where you can share 
them with friends, family, and colleagues. 

If you don’t want to see the Welcome Dialog at startup, uncheck the Show 
Welcome Dialog on Startup option. You can also uncheck Show Welcome 
Screen at Startup under the General tab from the Options dialog under the 
Edit menu. 

The SmartDraw Photo program window consists of a central Work Area 
surrounded by the Image Explorer on the left, the Tool Settings Panel on the 
right, and the toolbars above.  

You may close any panel by selecting the 'x' 

 in the corner of the window. If 

you have two panels open within the same area, the arrow buttons next to the ‘x’ 
allow you to toggle between them.
