Listening to messages using 
the handset
When new messages have been recorded, u is 
displayed with the total number of new messages.

Operating the answering system
You can also operate the answering system by 
pressing dial keys or soft keys on the handset.
To use the following commands:

Calling back (Caller ID subscribers 
only)
If caller information is received for the call, you can 
call the caller back while listening to a message.

Remote operation
Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone 
number from outside and access the unit to listen 
to messages or change answering system 
settings.
Remote access code
A 3-digit remote access code must be entered 
when operating the answering system remotely. 
This code prevents unauthorised parties from 
listening to your messages remotely.
Important:

In order to operate the answering system 
remotely, you must first set a remote access 
code.
