10.2 Programming through a web browser
You can change features through the web browser interface instead of the unit.

Start Multi-Function Station. A [Device] A [Configuration Web Page]
R You can also access the unit by entering its IP address in a web browser.

Select the desired category from the menu bar.
[Device]: features of the unit
[Network]: network features
[Directory]: registration of the address book, etc.

Type “root” as the user name, then enter the password (feature #155 on page 69). [OK]

Select the desired feature from the menu.

Change the settings or edit the information.
R This step will vary depending on the feature.

[Submit]
R The new setting will be transferred to the unit.

Close the web browser.
Note:
R The settings displayed in the web browser can be updated by clicking [Reload].
R When the unit is in sleep mode, communication between the web browser and the unit may be slower than usual.

Select the PC to send fax reception notification message to (up to 6 destinations).
1. Start Multi-Function Station.
2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A [Device]
3. 
Type “root” as the user name, then enter the password (feature #155 on
page 69). [OK]
4. Select [FAX FEATURE] from the menu.
5. Select [ON] from the [RECEIVE NOTIFY] drop-down list.
6. Click [Edit] next to [RECEIVE PC LIST].
7. Click [List] next to the desired destination.
8. Click the desired PC from the list. A [Submit]
9. 
Close the web browser.
