SMS message centre telephone numbers must 
be stored in order to send and receive SMS 
messages.

For German users
The following numbers (used for SMS services 
provided by Materna GmbH) are preprogrammed 
in this unit. You can change them if necessary.
– Message Centre 1: 09003266900

Consult your service provider for more 
information.

Press {j/OK}.

Select “SMS”, then press {>}.

Select “Allgemein”, then press {>}.

Select “Einstellungen”, then press {>}.

Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

If you changed the PIN, enter it (Seite 29).

Select “Nachr.Zentrale1” or 
“Nachr.Zentrale2”, then press {>}.

Edit the number as necessary, then press 
{j

/OK}.

Select “Speichern”, then press {>}.

Press {ih}.

Hinweis:
L

If your phone is connected to a PBX, you need 
to add the PBX line access number and a 
dialling pause to the beginning of the Message 
Centre 1 phone number. For Message Centre 
2, store the Message Centre 1 phone number 
as is, without adding a line access number or 
dialling pause.

For Austrian users
The following numbers (used for SMS services 
provided by Telecom Austria) are 
preprogrammed in this unit. You can change 
them if necessary.
– Message Centre 1: 0800201203
– Message Centre 2: 0800201267
Message Centre 1 is used for sending SMS 
messages, and Message Centre 2 is used for 
receiving messages.

enter its password.

Select “Eingeben”, then press {>}.

If “^Letzt.TextVerw?” is displayed, 
you can use the text from the last message 
you created by pressing {e}. This 
message will be displayed only if the last 
message was created using the same 
mailbox you selected in step 3.

Enter the message (Seite 40), then press 
{j

/OK}.

Enter the destination phone number (20 
digits max.), then press {j/OK}.

To send the message to a party saved in 
the handset phonebook, press {k},
