Uređaj automatski odabire brzinu snimanja između XP i EP ( 8 sati ) koja će omogućiti snimkama da stanu u ostali prostor na disku s najvećom
mogućom kvalitetom snimanja.
Primjerice, kod 90-minutnog snimanja na nekorišteni DVD-RAM, kvaliteta slike prilagođuje se između "XP" i "SP".

Prilikom snimanja na HDD kvaliteta slike automatski se prilagođava da bi kopirani naslov točno stao na disk od 4,7 GB.

Svi načini snimanja, od XP do EP, pojavljuju se na zaslonu.
Prikaz zaslona za potvrdu formata
Kod umetanja novog diska ili diska snimljenog na računalu ili drugoj
opremi, prikazat će se zaslon za potvrdu formata. Formatirajte disk
