Insert a video cassette with an intact write-protection tab.

Select the desired tape length in the VHS FUNCTIONS menu.

Press STATUS several times until the time remaining on the tape appears in
the unit display. With each press of the button, the display changes as follows:

If you press STOP , the recording will be stopped and the time setting will be deleted.
This is not possible for TIMER-controlled recordings or for recordings via an external device. If
