Connect the external device to the AV3 input sockets on the front side of the unit.

TP channel (copy input channel)
If you select the TP channel, the DVD 
element can receive video/audio signals 
from VHS and copy to DVD.
If you select the DC channel, the VHS 
element can receive and record video/audio 
signals from DVD. 
DC channel (copy input channel)
You cannot select the DC channel and the 
TP channel at the same time.
This unit cannot record signals from PCs.

     If [M1] and [M2] are selected on the 
connected device, you can choose the 
audio mode during playback.
                 Select [M1] or [M2] on the 
connected device. You cannot select the 
audio mode during playback. 
If the output signal of the external device is 
an NTSC signal, set the TV system in the 
SETUP menu to [NTSC].

If you activated the write-protection,
deactivate it.

mode.

In stop mode, use INPUT SELECT to select 
the input channel AV3.

Start the playback on the external device.

to begin recording, press PAUSE   .
