Character entry
The dial keys are used to enter characters and numbers. Each dial key has multiple characters
assigned to it. The characters that can be entered depend on the character entry mode
(page 54).
– Press MFN or MEN to move the cursor left or right.
– Press dial keys to enter characters and numbers.

Character entry modes
The available character entry modes are Alphabet (ABC), Numeric (0-9), Greek (

). For SMS messages, Alphabet (ABC),

) modes are available. When in these entry
modes except Numeric, you can select which character is entered by pressing a dial key
repeatedly.
