A file name like the one above is displayed on the computer but on the screen of the unit a number such as “1” is displayed.
Automatic change of file name by deleting/dividing files:
Deleting/dividing recorded files on this unit will move subsequent files forward or backward and file numbers are
automatically reassigned.
Returning the files imported to the computer to this unit:
If you change file names on the computer, files which are not in “MUSIC” folder cannot be played back. Change the
file names according to the above naming method or return the files to “MUSIC” folder.
However, if file names have been changed by deleting files, etc., the files to be returned may duplicate the file numbers of this
unit. In this case, the returned files may not be played back on this unit. When playing back files that were once imported to
the computer and returned to this unit, it is recommended to play back by returning these files to “MUSIC” folder. (

File name in “MUSIC” folder and order of playback:
If numbers are added at the beginning of file names in “MUSIC” folder, playback is performed from the file with the
smallest number. Up to 3 digits of number can be identified. If digits differ such as 1, 01, 001, then “001 to 999” takes
the first priority, “01 to 99” takes the second and “1 to 9” takes the last priority. You can change the order of playback
according to your preference by adding numbers at the beginning of file names, such as 001musicA.MP3, 002musicB.
MP3. The displayed order will also be the same as the playback order.
For transferring files to “MUSIC” folder, see “Transferring music files to this unit”. (

For playback of files, see “Listening to music on this unit”. (

File name
If you change the names of folders (“MIC”, “MUSIC”) on the computer side, new “MIC” and “MUSIC” folders are
generated when this unit is turned on.
•  The files in the folders with changed names cannot be played. To play back such files, transfer them to “MUSIC” folder.
•  If recording is performed, the file is saved in the new generated “MUSIC” folder. The file number (see above) will start with 001.
Do not change the folder names.
