Installing a DRAM DIMM in a Cisco 2801 Router
To install a DRAM DIMM in a Cisco 2801 router, follow these steps:
Step 1
Locate the DIMM socket on the motherboard.
Step 2
Remove any existing DIMM by gently pulling the spring-loaded clips on the end of the socket far enough 
to clear the DIMM, and gently pulling the DIMM up and away from the socket. See 
Figure 14
