4.5 Expected Failure Time and Mode and its Effect on the Subject
Expected failure modes include:
Belt, roller and bearing wear - resulting in increased operational noise and
eventual cessation of function

4.6 Switching Operating Voltage
The Exer-Rest® device has a voltage selector switch next to the power inlet at
the foot end of the device. To change the voltage setting, turn the main power
switch off and remove the power cord from the power inlet. Use a Philips screw
driver to remove the 2 screws holding the transparent acrylic cover over the
selector switch. Switch to the desired operating voltage. Re-attach the
transparent cover, plug in the appropriate power cord and turn on the main power
switch.
