 Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket and press the DE-CALC 

reset button to reset the EASY DE-CALC function. The DE-CALC 

light goes out.

Cleaning the soleplate
Clean the soleplate regularly to remove stains from the soleplate.

 Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket and press the on/off 

button to switch on the steam generator and let it heat up.

 After approx. 2 minutes, press the on/off button again to switch off 

the steam generator and remove the plug from the wall socket.

 3 

 Place a piece of moist cotton cloth on the ironing board.

 4 

 Iron over the cotton cloth repeatedly to remove stains from the 

soleplate.

 Press the on/off button to switch off the steam generator and 

remove the plug from the wall socket. 

 2 

 Remove the detachable water tank and empty it.

 3 

 Place the iron on the iron platform.

 4 

Specific types only: Push the carry lock over the tip of the soleplate

to lock the iron onto the iron platform.

 5 

 Fold the supply hose and mains cord to store them in their 

respective storage compartments. 

 6 

Specific types only: You can now easily carry the whole appliance by

the handle of the iron with one hand.

Do not carry the appliance by holding the water tank release lever.
