Basic Operation
The alarm is designed to detect a wave created on the surface of the
water. When the alarm is floating in the pool, a metal sensing post on
the bottom of the alarm is continuously making contact with the water. A
sensing ring under the rim of the blue cover is just above the water but
not making contact. When a wave is created and makes contact with the
sensing ring the alarm will sound.
