7.4 Deleting
Data
Preparations for deleting data are made in the manner described in section 7.1, with the
PipeHawk being turned off to make the cable connection. PipeHawk is then turned on. A
double click on the Transfer icon on the Client PC ensures that this machine is ready for the
transfer.

A Client PC must be connected to PipeHawk to delete data.
7.4.1 Access the Data Transfer Menu from the Main Menu
Press Key 6
The Data Transfer Menu is accessed allowing the Client
PC and PipeHawk to recognise each other and to
communicate.

This scrolls the user up and down through the sequential
list of data sets collected and stored on the machine.

This instructs the PipeHawk to delete the chosen data
sets and accesses the Delete Data Confirm Menu.

Press Key 1
To confirm the data deletion. The data will then be
deleted.
