Setup

Connect the laptop to port 8 of the BIC CRIC using an Ethernet (CAT5) cable.

From the laptop, ping the External IP Address of the MC-Series System (169.254.200.5).
If replies are returned from the ping, continue to the next step. Otherwise, open a command
prompt window and enter: ipconfig. Verify that the IP address of the laptop is zero config.
