3. In the “Single Block Operations” box, select the block and data you want to write (data is
hexadecimal). You can pad bytes with whitespaces if you wish, but this is not required.

The length in bytes of a single block depends on the tag manufacturer, but most ISO 15693
tags use four bytes blocks. See TAGSYS Explorer User’s Guide for more information.

4. Place a single ISO15693 tag in the radio field of the channel 1 antenna.
5. Click “Write” to write data to the block. If writing is successful, no error message appears.
To check block data, clear the “Data” field and click “Read” to read data back from the

Two different firmware sets can be upgraded in your RFID reader:
•
System firmware (The system is in charge of interfacing one or several radios to a host
through various interfaces and protocols)
•
Radio firmware (The radio is in charge off all RFID operations).
