Replace Transmissive Sensor
Caution:
Caution • This installation must be performed by a qualified service technician.

Caution • Turn Off (O) the printer and disconnect the printer from the power 
source before performing the following maintenance.
Remove Transmissive Sensor
1.
Turn Off (
O
) the printer and remove the AC power cord and data cables.
2.
Refer to Figure 4-49. Open the media door, remove the electronics cover mounting 
screw and lock washer.
3.
Remove the media and ribbon.
4.
Close the media door.

The standard transmissive sensor is shown. The procedure is the same 
for the adjustable sensor.
