Description
PDUMH30AT Metered ATS / Auto-Transfer Switch offers 120V 30A dual-input power distribution and visual current metering in a 2U horizontal
rackmount installation format. Set of two NEMA L5-30P line cords enable separate primary and secondary input connections. Includes 25 built-in
outputs (24 NEMA 5-15/20R and 1 L5-30R). Digital current metering with push-button display control tracks output power consumption in 4
segments: Bank 1 (12 upper 5-15/20R outlets), Bank 2 (12 lower 5-15/20R outlets), L5-30R (single outlet) and total PDU output. Supports 2U
installation in 2 or 4 post racks, with additional support for wall-mount and under-counter placement.
Tripp Lite’s Metered ATS / Auto-Transfer Switch PDU Systems provide redundant-power and hot-swappable UPS options for network and server
applications powered by a single input line cord. Separate PRIMARY and SECONDARY input line cords enable a redundant connection to two
separate mains circuits. ATS systems will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary
power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and
stable. Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within 3-6 milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any
two compatible power sources, regardless of phase angle, to offer support for a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications.
Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant dual-UPS protection when each cord is
connected to a separate UPS system. In a dual-UPS configuration, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave online UPS.
Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application. ATS configurations utilizing separate
mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates
power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front
input LEDs display primary and secondary power availability. Additional LEDs identify the displayed load segment reported by the digital current
display.
