4)  Remove locknut from carriage bolt of the sensor that you are 

replacing 

5)  Loosen, but do not remove other locknuts. This is to allow 

you to adjust the plate while keeping it attached to target 
frame 

6)  Remove old sensor module and insert the new one 
7)  Secure new sensor module in place with bolt, nut and washer 
8)  When attaching new sensor module to target, make sure the 

components are lined up in the following order*: 

a.  Carriage Bolt 
b.  AR500 Plate 
c.  Rubber Dampener 
d.  Target Frame 
e.  Sensor Module 
f.  Washer 
g.  Locknut 

*Refer to Figure 25 for sensor schematic  

9)  Torque locknut to 20 ft/lbs. Over tightening carriage bolts will 

introduce additional stress and strain in the system 

10) Screw cable to corresponding connector on target computer 

(refer to Figure 17)
