COPIER
Using the Copy Mode Key
You can select the Copy resolution for your type of the original document (TEXTAUTO or 
PHOTO). Select the right kind of image you’re copying.

Insert the document face down in the ADF.

Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies you want (up to 99).

Press Copy Mode.
TEXT (text only)
AUTO (line art, graphs, or any combination including photograph)
PHOTO (photograph only)

Press

 to select the right kind of image you’re copying, and press Set.

Press CopyOR—Press 
 or 
 for additional settings.
Using the Options Key
The Options key changes the settings for number of copies, stack/sort and special copy options for 
the next copy only
. See the explanation below the table.
Press Options.
Sorting Multiple Copies
Sorting uses more memory than Stacking, as the whole document is scanned into memory to start 
with.
