Professional mode
5.1
What you can do
In professional mode, you can configure the TV for hotel use.
Features include:
• Changing professional setup items, such as power and speaker
settings.
• USB cloning
• Downloading software via RF, including SSB firmware, Smart
TV and hotel information.
• Change TV settings, Install channels, Change Network settings.

Enter Professional Home Menu
To enter the Professional Home Menu
 
1 - Press 3, 1, 9, 7, 5, 3 and 
. 
The professional setup menu appears.
The Professional Home Menu has items for:
 
• Quick picture & sound settings and TV settings
• Search for channels and Channel settings
• Connect to network and Network settings (if applicable)
• Update software and Software settings
• Professional settings menu

Enable Professional Home Menu
Enable professional mode
 
 
The Professional Mode will be already set to On if it was
selected during the Virgin installation procedure.
To change the setting:
1 - In the professional mode menu, select 
Professional Settings
menu and press OK.
2 - Select 
Professional settings > Professional mode > On, and
press 
OK:
On: Switch on professional mode. Hospitality features are
enabled.
Off: Switch off professional mode. The TV operates as a
normal consumer TV.

This provides the selection of 
Default or Custom dashboard (i.e.
Home Menu)
Professional Settings Overview
 
 
To view the Professional settings.
Room ID
 
 
Set a room ID for the TV. Restricted to numeric characters only,
with a maximum of four characters.
Channel setup
 
 
Here you can enter the channel setup menu to rename, reorder,
mark as favourites, hide/unhide channels
Reset Professional Settings
 
 
To reset Professional mode settings to factory default values.
Switch on settings
Customise the way the TV behaves when it is switched on.
Switch on channel
 
 
Switches to a predefined channel.
Switch on vol
 
 
Switches to a predefined volume.
Max volume
 
 
Limits the maximum volume of the TV.
Switch On Feature
 
 
Starts up in Smart TV orMyChoice modes.
Switch on picture format
 
 
Switches to a predefined picture format.
Power Settings
Customise the way the TV behaves when it is switched on.
Power On
 
 
Determine whether the TV goes to standby when it is switched
on.
Low Power Standby
 
 
Determine whether standby mode is [Fast] (regular) or [Green]
