12. SETTING OF CLOCK/DATE
As already described in chapter 11, it may be necessary to set the time and date
manually if the DCF reception is bad.
For the manual setting as well as for the DCF reception the 12/24 hour display, the
sequence of day and month on the display and the language for the display of the
abbreviation of the weekday can be selected.
(
If the DCF reception is active, simply skip the setting of the time and date
(don’t change anything). Below, you will find out how to do this.
The setting is carried out in the following steps:
You have to be in the normal time display mode (no alarm display). If necessary
press the time key
 (1) several times, until the time is displayed.
Press the time key
 (1) for about 2 seconds until a tone signal can be heard.
The current mode (12 or 24 hours) flashes on the display (”12h” or ”24h”).
Adjust the mode with the ”” or ”” key.
(
If no key is pressed for 10 seconds the current setting is copied and the
setting mode is exited. The current time is displayed again.
By briefly pressing the time key
 (1) you will change to the next setting step.
The hour display flashes.

when the time is adjusted!

13. a).
