Die ...NS-Baureihe ist mit der ...N-Bau-
reihe oder älteren nicht steckkompati-
bel. Ohne grossen Aufwand können die
bereits installierten ...N-Typen umge-
baut werden. Damit werden sie berüh-
rungssicher nach den Normen IEC, EN
60529, DIN VDE 0470 und die Steck-
kompatibilität mit allen ...NS-Typen ist
gewährleistet.

The ...NS series is not plug-compatible
with the ...N series or older types.
...N-type connectors that are already in-
stalled can easily be converted. This
gives them touch protection in accor-
dance with standards IEC, EN 60529,
DIN VDE 0470 and ensures plug-com-
patibility with all ...NS types.

Les connecteurs de la gamme ...NS ne
sont pas systématiquement compati-
bles avec les anciennes générations de
connecteurs. Les connecteurs de la
gamme ...N peuvent cependant être
transformés très simplement. La protec-
tion au doigt d’épreuve selon CEI, EN
60529, DIN VDE 0470 ainsi que la com-
patibilité avec la nouvelle gamme ...NS
seront ainsi garanties.

(Schraubendreher Gr.2). Es darf beim
Einführen kein Loctite an die Kontaktflä-
chen gelangen.

Conversion of sockets
KBT16BV-N..., ID/B16BV-N, IB16BV-N
Spread some Loctite 243 onto the
thread of the protection bolt. Insert the
protection bolt into the socket. Do not
touch the contact surface with Loctite.
Screw in the protection bolt with the
screwdriver size 2.

Transformation des douilles
KBT16BV-N..., ID/B16BV-N, IB16BV-N
Enduire le filetage du doigt de protec-
tion avec de la colle Loctite 243. Intro-
duire le doigt de protection dans la
douille sans toucher les surfaces de
contact avec la colle Loctite. Le fixer en
position avec le tournevis Gr. 2.
