The charger charges 1 or 2 round cell batteries. Both charging slots work independently from 

one another however, must be equipped with the same battery type.
 Ni-MH or Ni-Cd round cell batteries of type AA (Mignon) or AAA (Micro) and lithium ion round 

cell battery types 14500, 18500, 18650, 17670, 17500, 16650 or 22650 are charged.
The micro processor controlled charger uses a single slot monitor, end-of-charge recognition 

as well as a trickle charge function for Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries. 
The operational status is signaled via two double LED displays.
The charger recognizes defective batteries, incorrect polarity and non-rechargeable batteries 

and ends the charging process. The safety timer switch off protects the device and batteries. 

An external plug-in power supply supplies power to the charger. However, the charger can also 

be operated at any USB port (if necessary with charge current reduction).
In addition a USB connection is available to supply/charge additional USB devices.
No primary batteries (zinc-carbon batteries, alkaline etc) or other battery types than specified 

before may be charged.
The charger should only be operated in dry, closed interior spaces. The power supply may only 

be connected and operated at an AC current of 100 - 240 V. The USB connection is standard-

ized and amounts to 5V/DC.
Use of the product other than for its intended use described here is prohibited and will result 

in damage to the product. It may also related to hazards such as short-circuit, fire, electric 

shock etc.

•  Due to safety and approval concerns (CE) the electrical devices must not be modi-

fied and/or altered without authorization.

 

•  To ensure safe operation, the user must observe all safety instructions and warn-

ings included in this manual.

 

•  The design of the plug-in power supply corresponds with protective class II (pro-

tective insulation). It should be ensured that the insulation of the housing is neither 

damaged or destroyed.

 

•  The charger and accessories should be kept out of reach of children! They are not 

toys.

 

•  For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention regulations 

for electrical systems and equipment of the government safety organization or the 

corresponding authority for your country.

 

•  In schools and training facilities and hobby and self-help workshops, the use of 

measuring devices must be monitored by trained and responsible personnel.

 

•  Please observe the charging instructions of the respective battery manufacturer 

when charging batteries. 

 

•  The battery can be overcharged or destroyed with incorrect handling (e.g. incor-

rect battery type). In the worst case scenario, the rechargeable battery might ex-

plode, causing considerable damage.

 

•  Keep transmitters (mobiles, transmitters for model making) away from the charger 

since the transmitter radiation occurring can disrupt the charging operation or de-

stroy the charging device and also the batteries. 

 

•  Never simultaneously connect your charger to the power supply if it is brought from 

a cold into a warm environment. The condensation generated could destroy the 

product in unfavorable conditions. Let the device first reach room temperature.

 

•  The power socket must near the device and easily accessible. Never operate the 

product unattended.

 

•  Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sun light , severe vibrations, 

high humidity, wet, flammable gases, vapors and solvents.

 

•  Never pour liquids over electrical devices and never place objects filled with liquid 

on top (e.g. glasses). 

 

•  If a safe operation cannot be expected any longer, the device must be decommis-

sioned and be secured against accidental use. 

 

•  Safe operation is no longer possible when:

 

  -  the device is visibly damaged

 

  -  the device no longer works and

 

  -  the device was stored for a long period of time under adverse conditions or

 

  -  after mishandling during transportation.
