Intended use
The charger charges 1 or 2 round cell batteries. Both charging slots work independently from
one another however, must be equipped with the same battery type.
Ni-MH or Ni-Cd round cell batteries of type AA (Mignon) or AAA (Micro) and lithium ion round
Ni-MH or Ni-Cd round cell batteries of type AA (Mignon) or AAA (Micro) and lithium ion round
cell battery types 14500, 18500, 18650, 17670, 17500, 16650 or 22650 are charged.

Please read the operating instructions thoroughly before use, they contain
important information on correct operation.
In case of damage caused by non-observance of these operating instructions,

• Due to safety and approval concerns (CE) the electrical devices must not be modi-
fied and/or altered without authorization.
• To ensure safe operation, the user must observe all safety instructions and warn-
ings included in this manual.
• The design of the plug-in power supply corresponds with protective class II (pro-
tective insulation). It should be ensured that the insulation of the housing is neither
damaged or destroyed.
• The charger and accessories should be kept out of reach of children! They are not
toys.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention regulations
for electrical systems and equipment of the government safety organization or the
corresponding authority for your country.
• In schools and training facilities and hobby and self-help workshops, the use of
measuring devices must be monitored by trained and responsible personnel.
• Please observe the charging instructions of the respective battery manufacturer
when charging batteries.
• The battery can be overcharged or destroyed with incorrect handling (e.g. incor-
rect battery type). In the worst case scenario, the rechargeable battery might ex-
plode, causing considerable damage.
• Keep transmitters (mobiles, transmitters for model making) away from the charger
since the transmitter radiation occurring can disrupt the charging operation or de-
stroy the charging device and also the batteries.
• Never simultaneously connect your charger to the power supply if it is brought from
a cold into a warm environment. The condensation generated could destroy the
product in unfavorable conditions. Let the device first reach room temperature.
• The power socket must near the device and easily accessible. Never operate the
product unattended.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sun light , severe vibrations,
high humidity, wet, flammable gases, vapors and solvents.
• Never pour liquids over electrical devices and never place objects filled with liquid
on top (e.g. glasses).
• If a safe operation cannot be expected any longer, the device must be decommis-
sioned and be secured against accidental use.
• Safe operation is no longer possible when:
- the device is visibly damaged
- the device no longer works and
- the device was stored for a long period of time under adverse conditions or
- after mishandling during transportation.
Please follow the important information in these operating instructions indicated by
the exclamation mark.

Operation
The device heats up on operation; please ensure sufficient ventilation; the
housing should not be covered.
The charging output is short circuit proof. However, never short circuit the
charging contacts.
Please note the polarity and the charging instructions of the respective bat-
tery manufacturer when connecting batteries.
Remove the batteries from the device when not in use for a prolonged period
to prevent leaking batteries damaging the device.
Do not carelessly leave rechargeable batteries and batteries lying around.
Children or pets may swallow batteries left lying about. If a battery has been
swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
Do not short-circuit batteries. Do not throw into fire. Primary batteries should
not be charged. There is a risk of explosion!
Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns to the
skin if touched. Wear suitable protective hand wear when handling such bat-
teries.
Only place the charger on an insensitive surface.
Do not use any USB extension cables, since this is not equipped for the opera-
tional current and can cause fire.
