Projection clock eFP 3000
intended use
This projection clock is intended to be used to display the time, date, weekday and room tempera-
ture. The weekdays can be displayed in several languages (GB, FR, DE, ES, IT).
In addition, the product has a projection clock, which projects the time and termperature, e.g. on
the ceiling.
Using the integrated DCF receiver, the time of day and the date can be set automatically (within a
radius of approx. 1,500 km around Frankfurt am Main). Of course, it is also possible to make manual
settings. Naturally, the time and the date can be set manually.
Moreover, it features an alarm function with additional SNOOZE function. Background lighting,
which can be activated, completes this product’s range of functions.
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
It is powered by 3 x 1.5 V Mignon batteries (type: AA) or by using the enclosed wall plug trans-

tially fatal electric shock.
Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. In such case, disconnect the device from
the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from a low height and any pres-
sure applied to the components can damage the device.
Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified specialist or a
specialised repair shop.

The radio signal (DCF) for the exact time in Germany is encrypted and sent out by a transmitter in Main-
flingen near Frankfurt. The transmitter has a range of approximately 1,500 km; under ideal ambient

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the housing and insert 3 x 1.5V Mignon batteries
(Type: AA), paying attention to the correct polarity (observe positive/+ and negative/-). All of
the display elements appear briefly in the display and a confirmation sound is emitted.

During summer time, the display shows the letters “DST“. DST means “Daylight Saving Time“ =
Summer time.
The receiving and interpreting the DCF signal can take up to 5 minutes. During this time, do not
move the projection clock. Do not use any buttons.
Bad reception can be due to metallised insulating glass windows, reinforced concrete construc-
tions, coated special wallpapers, heating devices, electric/electronic devices located in the vicinity
of the product or use in basement rooms.
If there still is no updated time/date shown in the display after 10-20 minutes, change the position
of the projection clock and try to start a new manual reception as described above. Should this also
not result in successful reception of the DCF signal, we recommend that you place the projection
clock in front of a window for 24 hours and then check whether a DCF signal has been received.
