The following screen (or similar) will confirm that you are in HyperTerminal 
programming mode. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2.  Once HyperTerminal mode is set up, press the “Enter” key twice.  The

To make a menu selection, enter the number of the element and press 
“Enter”.
