Functional Check
Use the information in this section to determine that the IntelliFrame Mainframe
operates properly. The functional check consists of checking the power supply
voltages at the 25-pin connector at the rear of the mainframe with a digital
voltmeter.
If your VX1410A mainframe comes with the optional display (standard on the
VX1420A mainframe), verify that the display shows no errors at power on. You
can then verify the power supply voltages with the front-panel digital display and
compare the displayed values against those in Table 1–3.
If your mainframe does not include the optional display you can measure the
power supply voltages with a digital voltmeter.
Connect one lead of the voltmeter to the supply pins of the 25-pin connector on
the rear panel of the mainframe. Connect the reference lead of the voltmeter to
one of the ground pins. Compare each voltage reading to the values listed in
Table 1–3.
