not present in all vehicles. The descriptions 

however, apply to all instrument versions.

Seat belt warning device 3 

If the control indicator illuminates after 

the ignition is switched on (with warning 

buzzer), fasten seat belt - see page 79.

Front fog lights 3 

The control indicator is illuminated when 

the front fog lights are on - see page 94.

The control indicator illuminates for a few 

seconds when the ignition is switched on. 
If it illuminates when the engine is running:

Fault in engine electronics or transmission 

electronics. Electronics switch to emergency 

running programme, fuel consumption 

may increase and driveability of the vehicle 

may be impaired - see page 126. Consult a 

workshop immediately. We recommend 

your Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
If it flashes when the ignition is on:

Fault in the electronic immobiliser system; 

the engine cannot be started – 

see page 45.
