4 On the Connections tab, in the Remote Service Port 
column, look at the information.
There should be a port number following the IP 
address of the site that you viewed with your browser. 
This number is the port number that is used to access 
your proxy server for your Web connection.

To specify which ports to monitor for HTTP 
communication

At the top of the main window, click 
Options. If a 
menu appears, click 
Norton Internet Security.
2 On the Firewall tab, under HTTP Port List, do one of 
the following:

To add a port to the HTTP Port List, click 
Add, and 
then type the number of the port that you want to 
monitor for HTTP communication.

To remove a port from the HTTP Port List, select 
the port number in the HTTP Port List, and then 
click 
Remove.
3 Click 
OK.
Can Norton Internet Security protect a Web 
server?
To protect a Web server, you must create a firewall rule 
that allows inbound TCP connections on port 80. The 
easiest way to create these rules is via a Norton Internet 
Security alert.
To create rules for a Web server using an alert

On the Web server, view your Web site by typing the 
IP address in the address bar of your browser.
An alert appears.
2 In the alert, on the drop-down menu, click 
Automatically configure Internet access.
3 Click 
OK.
