The power lamp on the left side of the mailing system base blinks when 
the system detects an internal error. The number of blinks tells you what 
kind of problem occurred.

You may be able to fix some problems by unplugging the mailing system,  
waiting a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. If this does not fix the  
problem, refer to the charts on the following pages for an explanation of 
the blink codes.

Note the number of blinks. The lamp blinks a certain number of times, 
pauses, and then blinks the same number of times. This pattern, called a 
blink code, repeats until the problem is fixed.
