This section describes how to check for new updates and enable new  
features on your mailing system. The instructions include:
•  Using IntelliLink

TM

 to Check for Updates

•  Enabling Accounting or Adding more Accounts
•  Adding new Envelope Ads or Inscriptions
•  Turning new Features On

NOTE:  Whenever you check your Postage By Phone

®

 account balance or add 

postage to your meter (see Chapter 5), your system automatically checks for 
updates, performs a rate or software update, and performs a postal inspection. 

1.  After you perform updates or add new features, you are prompted to 

restart (reboot) your system. Be advised that your updates or new  
features do not take effect until you reboot your system. 

2.  To reboot your system, unplug the AC cord from the wall outlet,  

then plug the cord back in.
