Enabling 
Accounting or 
Adding more 
Accounts
You can use this option only if you have purchased the Accounting feature. 
This option allows you to enable the accounting feature on your mailing 
system. 
If you are already using accounting, you can use this option to add more 
accounts.
Before you can enable accounting or add more accounts to your existing 
mailing system, contact your Pitney Bowes representative. They can make 
the features available for downloading.
1.  Press the Options key.
2.  Select Setup Menu.
3.  Select Updates and Add-Ons. A list of all the update options appears. 
4.  Select Accounting.
5.  If your system has more than one way of adding or updating features, 
you are prompted to "Select the Method of Update".
6.  If you have received a feature code from Pitney Bowes, select Turn 
Features On
 
Type in the code and press Enter
7.  If you need to download the feature, select Phone Download when 
prompted to "Select the Method of Update".
 
Your system dials Pitney Bowes and establishes a connection. A series 
of messages appear showing you the progress of the download and 
update. 
8.  When the update is complete, your system asks if you want to reboot 
(restart) your system.
 
Press Yes (Enter) to restart now and No (Options key) if you want to 
restart later. Your update will not take effect until you restart your  
mailing system.
