Power up procedure  70 
Power down procedure 
1. 
Power down all IT equipment. 
2. 
Open all POD power drop box breakers. 
3. 
Monitor the system parameters and allow the POD to cool to an acceptable temperature. Be sure that 
the cold aisle temperature does not fall below 10°C (50°F.) 
4. 
Close the POD return chilled water isolation valve. 
5. 
Close the POD supply chilled water isolation valve. 
6. 
Open the POD main power feed breakers. 
7. 
Unlock the POD power cabinets A and B. 
8. 
Open all breakers in the POD power cabinets A and B. 
The HP POD 40c G2 is now powered down and all breakers are ready for standard or cold weather power 
up.
