What you should do with 4709E brake shoe products packaged as 4709EII brake shoes:
All of the impacted 4709E brake shoe products in your inventory distributed between October 22, 2008 and
November 6, 2008 (inclusive) should be immediately identifi ed, segregated, and returned to Bendix Spicer
Foundation Brake LLC. Additionally, if the improperly packaged brake shoes are installed on vehicles, the
brake shoes should be removed as there will be no tension on the retainer springs.

and replacement of the product under the standard Bendix warranty claim terms.
